  • Question: When buying a voucher, do I have to settle for a fixed date of flight?
    Answer: No. You can buy a voucher and choose the date of flight later.

  • Question: Do I need any previous knowledge about flying a simulator?
    Answer: No. You don’t need any previous flying knowledge. You will receive an extended briefing with a detailed introduction about the cockpit and the most important control devices. Additionally, a commercial pilot will assist you during the flight.

  • Question: Do I have to share my cockpit time with anybody else?
    Answer: No. The entire cockpit time is yours. At Flight Simulator Berlin, you don't have to share your flying time with anybody else.

  • Question: Do you have a panorama view?
    Answer: Yes. We don’t just have a 180° panoramic view system but also a cambered projection surface.

  • Question: Certainly I will have questions. Who exactly is assisting me?
    Answer: You will be assisted and supported by a real licensed commercial pilot and can expect the necessary professional competence.

  • Question: I want to prepare for a screening. Can I bring my own Instructor?
    Answer: Of course, additionally there will be an ATPL / CPL pilot available to practice required Procedures.

  • Question: Can I acquire the cockpit flights as a present or gift voucher?
    Answer: Sure. We gladly send away neutral tickets (without the senders address) and without a specific flight date. Later on, the presentee can choose a date on his own discretion.

  • Question: How much does a simulator flight cost?
    Answer: For the costs, take a look at our Price List (click here).

  • Question: Can kids sit and fly in the simulator?
    Answer: Sure. Starting from a size of 150 cm that's not a problem.

  • Question: Is your cockpit a "real" cockpit or just a plastic reproduction?
    Answer: Our cockpit is a real cockpit and flew for several years up in the air. After a hard landing it was converted into a simulator. Therefore most parts (e.g. cockpit, yoke, seats, thrust levers, pedals, etc.) are original parts. Electronic components were changed for simulator operations but comply optically with the original.

  • Question: I have special wishes concerning a particular airport or weather. Is that possible?
    Answer: Of course. Choose your individual destination out of 24.000 airports worldwide paired with your desired weather situation; beautiful blue skies or challenging thunderstorms, crosswinds, snow or fog. You choose, we make it possible.

  • Question: Can I do an entire flight with the Economy Package?
    Answer: Of course. Fly from A to B or practice Take-Offs and Landings. The entire time is available on your own discretion.

  • Question: Can I bring guests with me or be accompanied by someone?
    Answer: Sure. Up to two guests are no problem. When bringing more guests, we kindly ask you to notify our team beforehand.

  • Question: How many switches does your cockpit have?
    Answer: 256... Ok, that's probably not right. To be honest…we've never counted them but there are many Winken. We don't know any pilot who ever counted all of them.
