Briefing
Depending on your knowledge and booked package, you will receive a detailed explanation of the basic control columns and systems of the Boeing 737-700. Out of 24.000 airports worldwide, you choose your own personal route and set the weather accordingly: Blue skies or a snowstorm, the actual weather of the day, a day- or night-flight – at Flight Simulator Berlin everything is possible.

Take-off from your favorite airport or choose a challenging approach – e.g. Innsbruck.

Simulator
After the briefing you will go to the simulator area together with your pilot. After entering the cockpit you will take a seat on the left-hand side – the captains seat. Depending on your chosen program, the cockpit will now awake to life out of the "Cold & Dark" condition step by step.

Your position is the gate at your requested airport.

As well, your flight can depart out of the "ready for departure" condition. You are already set on the runway with engines running.

You will sit in the cockpit of the Boeing 737-700, all sounds are simulated. Nearly every switch is located in the right position and functions like the original.

In front of you, you will see the runway. A 6 meter cambered projection surface will give you a 180° high resolution panoramic view of the real Take-Off roll.

After the "Cleared for Takeoff" clearance, you will calmly but determined move the thrust lever – which has been flying for thousands of hours up in the air – forward.


The Boeing 737-700 starts moving. You will feel the humming of the engines accelerating and vibrations shaking the cockpit.

100% concentration – hold the Boeing 737-700 on the centerline and accelerate furthermore.

"80 knots" – at this speed, the speed indication is checked by both pilots accordingly. Disagreements will result in a Take-Off abortion.

"V1" – no matter what happens: at this speed no Take-Off abortion is allowed anymore.

"VR" – the rotation speed: approximately 135 kts. Pull the yoke slowly and the Boeing 737-700 will start to raise its nose. At "V2" you will lift-off and climb with a speed of approximately 155 kts and 15° pitch-up into the virtual sky.

Fly your chosen route per hand or with the help of the autopilot. Check the systems, speeds, route and cleared altitudes.

On request, all kinds of weather situations can be activated or emergencies be simulated. These will require full concentration even by experienced pilots.

You can execute your flight from A to B or practise traffic patterns with repeated Take-Offs and Landings.

During the flight you will be assisted by an experienced pilot who will be pleased to answer any upcoming questions.

The darkened cockpit area will soon let you forget your real surrounding environment. You will find yourself in a perfect illusion of a real flight in the cockpit of the Boeing 737-700.

All prices include taxes and are valid for one (or two switching) person(s) in the simulator.
General terms and conditions

ECONOMY - The briefing contains all fundamentals about the controls of an airplane – e.g. yoke, pedal, thrust lever – and their interactions. Depending on your knowledge, you can alternatively be briefed on other topics (e.g. autopilot, engine-controlling, Crew management, etc.). Afterwards you can choose your individual flight situation (Departure- and Destination-airport, weather).
During your flight, a commercial pilot will assist you professionally.
The Debriefing will contain an evaluation of your flight.
Drinks: Coffee, Tea and a selection of softdrinks.

BUSINESS - like ECONOMY, additionally: the briefing is more extensive. E.g. you can discuss Departure/Approach procedures, functions of the Autopilot (MCP) and the Flight Management System (FMC).
Due to the longer flight time, a complete flight from the "Cold & Dark" condition (the plane is in its off-state at the departure airport) until the engine shut off at the destination airport is possible.
Of course, also other flight situations are possible.
Drinks: Coffee, Tea, a selection of softdrinks, red / white / sparkling wine and Prosecco.

FIRST - like BUSINESS, additionally: the briefing contains a detailed explanation of the Boeing 737-700 glass cockpit (PFD / ND / EICAS), the communication / navigation instruments as well as the Overhead panel with a detailed fuel- and engine management, the auxiliary power unit (APU) and the electric circuits.
With 3,5 hours of flight time it’s possible to do two complete flights from A to B. Alternatively, you can practice certain procedures like Take-Offs, Landings or system faults.
Certainly the briefing time can be shortened in order to extend your flight time. On request, you can log into the online networks IVAO or VATSIM and see other pilots fly according to the IFR rules and instructions of the ATC controllers.
The communication complies to the greatest possible extent to reality.
Due to the longer flight time brakes are certainly possible.
Drinks: Coffee, Tea, a selection of softdrinks, red / white / sparkling wine, Prosecco and Champagne.
Food: An italian antipasti.
